Last Wednesday I went to check out that discount they've been promoting for a while at once of their cinema in Ekamai. They say the ticket is 60 baht out of 140-160 (the normal price) so I picked the movie 'Percy Jackson and the lighting thief' at 1600hrs because that the only time I was available. But I didn't know was the ticket in that cinema is 170baht every seat (VIP cinema)!! I planed to pay less but end up paying more. Maybe they write down the condition somewhere that I didn't see, but doesn't they say 60bath every movie? Probably it's my fault that I didn't ask so I gotta pay the price for being completely a fool. Next time I (and all of you too) gotta check it carefully because it's still a good deal for a movie freak like me!! hahahaha
'Percy Jackson and the lighting thief', movie about God, Demi-God, human, teenager and family. Like some of the other similar kinda movie, Percy doesn't know that his father is one of the three mighty God but when he found out, he thought it's a dream and some kind of a joke. And suddenly his life turn upside down in one day; found out about his history, accused as a thief, training his power, safe his mother. Oh well...seems Percy has one of those teenager crisis day, hasn't he? I'm not quite sure if the movie wants to focus the issue about family and resposibility (as Poseidon, Percy's father, has to obey the rule not seeing his child or else he will attach with human and forget his responsibility as a mighty God which could possibly effect the whole world!) but it's good to know that at least they try to instruct a new generation about how important the family is and so does their responsibility to their life (if they really pay attention beside that cute actor and the visual effect).
It's really frustrated to see the new generation doesn't have any much respect and lack of responsibility. I have no idea if school still on anymore since I've seen student walking around shopping mall and shopping area a whole day. Ah...now I sound like an old lady keep nagging about everything! Huh...those kids grow so fast, too fast...
Enjoy Wednesday,
Anita
