The Hurt Locker

"The Hurt Locker"...I'm not sure if I can say that I like this movie. I felt uncomfortable, and extremely disturb during almost 3 hours of watching. If movie suppose to entertain viewer, this one is completely fail. But if they're running for the winner of Best Movie against "Avatar", I shall give the Oscar to "The Hurt Locker".

“…war is a drug.” These words, as quoted from journalist Chris Hedges. It can't be completely truth. Nobody wants a war and nobody wants to be in the battlefield. But some how someone creates the war so it won't be heavenly peaceful that they have nothing else to do. Ridiculously, most of war's movie will show how soldiers feel a difficulty to adjust themselves when they off duty. Sometime they feel a battlefield is a truly home. Is it crazy? We just never know. Some said this movie is not accurate, I would love to hear what is genuinely accurate. I would love to hear that all we've heard and seen is not true.

Ironically I can relate to the movie (at some point), as a few years ago I was in Doha, the capital city of the state of Qatar which located on the Persian Gulf, and you might not believe me if I'm telling you that I like it there. Sometime the word 'home' is meaningless to me. Possession is only myself. "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there." according to New American Standard Bible. Well, I am Buddhist but I am open to any religion as I do believe non of those religion is harmful. Religion nourish our soul as Love nourish our heart.

While some people enjoy their precious pricy doll, clubbing and shopping, I am happy with my life of no doll, no iPod, no iPhone or BB and no brand name goodies. If I compare my life with those poor kids, I have enough. If you compare with those richies, you have nothing...not even your pride. Appreciate what you have because in the end, you will take nothing.
