As a fan of SATC, I couldn't really wait to see the second one when I known that they're producing and shooting the sequel even I didn't know why would they need to have the sequel any way.
What I'm so in love with this movie was the fashion, the parade of amazing, ridiculous and incredible costume. It's more of a promotion movie than a really movie. Some friends didn't enjoy the movie and some friends loved it. Well, in my case as I told you before that I don't see it in the only one way, entertainment. I also see if there have something to connect with life.
The movie also remind me of my best friend. The way she sees the marriage life is almost the same way as Carrie and Big're been going through. My friend doesn't want to have kids now, but it doesn't mean that she doesn't want them, just not in the nearest future. And they seems to be happy that way. In my culture, a woman my age suppose to get marriage and have kids but seriously who makes the rule? Everytime when I met my friends from school, they would ask "You marry"? or "You have kids?". Since most of them already have some kids so I think they expect that everyone will be the same. Honestly, I don't care the rule. I enjoy my life the way it is. I don't really care about getting marriage. I don't want to have kids now (maybe someday, for sure, but not at this moment). I'm happy to be with the man I love even if he didn't want to get marriage soon, that's all so fine with me. What's more important to me is the love that's in to carry and feed the relationship. Also the passionate between 2 people, not the judgment by the other.
I'm wondering who makes the rule that if 2 people love each other so much then they have to get marriage or if a couple should have kids. What makes it work for some people doesn't have to work with everyone. Relationship is ruled by 2 people who's in it and agree with the term. You can't expect everyone to be in your shoes. Maybe they just don't like your shoes, don't like its style, don't like its color or even don't like its smell.
What I'm saying here, some might not understand why I am being difference but I'm sure some will definitely agreed. I make my own rule and I am happy the way it is, that's all you really need to know so go back to your own world while I'm enjoying mine.
