As a big fan of the movie 'Step Up' and 'Step Up2', I couldn't hardly wait to see 'Step Up3' when I known that it would come out soon. And finally, I went to see the movie with a big group of friends, some is Step Up's fan and some just wanna join the journey. Now you're waiting to hear what I might say...'Disappointed' is the word. Just only a couple scene that I love was 'the robot dance' (that guy is incredible!) and 'flood floor dancing' (originally in the last dance scene of Step Up2). The choreography is brilliant as usual but I have to admit that the last dance which suppose to be the climax is just so-so and nothing much to impress but that lighting dancing uniform. I prefer the last dance from Step Up2, script from Step Up1 and dance crews from all especially from 2&3. Compare to the first 2, this one is the weakest script ever.
Talking about the crews, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are the legend who makes 'Step Up' so popular. And ,Channing, you're always my favorite. While 'Moose' is scene-stealer since the 2nd and now the main of Step Up3. And he might be the reason why some people would love to see this 3rd one. I spotted some of my favorite dancer, Legacy and Twitch, from 'So you think you dance' TV program. They both are the most brilliant dancer and good luck for their career. Rick, as Luke, you seriously need an acting class. I haven't seen much of his dancing talent and only his hot six-pack couldn't have any effect on me, sorry. Natalie, I wanna see more of her dancing. But I haven't heard anything that it will be more of 'Step Up' and due to the movie policy, they always cast new faces for the main character. The soundtrack, really made me wanna dance and I did actually jumping on my seat.
So briefly, I just only admire all the dance scene from Step Up3 and I didn't feel sorry not seeing it in 3D at all as I'm so sick of Hollywood 3D mania since Avatar Phenomenon. If you love dancing and some incredible dance scene or just only love to see a hot hunk, go and enjoy...
